What this site knows about you.

Short version: almost nothing, and none of it by name.

No forms, no accounts, no email

There is nothing here to sign up for and nothing to fill in. We never ask for your name, your email address or anything else, so there is no database of readers to leak, sell or lose. If you want updates, the RSS feed gives them to you without telling us you subscribed.

No cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking scripts. That is also why you have not been asked to accept anything.

Visit counting

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, referrers and country. It is cookie-free and does not fingerprint your device or build a profile across sites; we see totals, never individuals. It exists so we know which facts people actually read.

Server logs

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web server, GitHub records requests, which includes IP addresses, and it does so under its own policy and retention, not ours. We do not have access to those logs.

Links out

Pages link to studies, journals and our own accounts on other platforms. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site under someone else’s rules, and this page stops applying.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete. If you believe otherwise, write to @oddlywireddaily and we will look into it.

Changes

If this ever stops being accurate, this page changes with it. It is generated from the site itself, not written once and forgotten.
